The Continuing Education and Development Center at University of Basrah organized an online workshop on Corona and the fatal fungus
The workshop aimed to educate the participants about the scale of the threat of the disease and educate them with information about the level of fear spreading from fungal infection
The workshop, which was presented by Dr. Wisal Odah Hassan Al-Hilfi, included several concepts, including an introduction to the world of fungi and its types, what the black fungus is, its existence, its form, what causes it, what are the types of infections, the symptoms of infection, the appropriate conditions for the invasion of the disease and the reason for accompanying Covid-19, as well as its laboratory diagnosis and its treatment
At the end, it was recommended to pay attention to personal hygiene and sanitizing, not to excessively use antibiotics and without consulting a specialist doctor and to eat healthy food, as well as to pay attention to strange symptoms and go to the hospital as soon as possible
