I discussed a master's thesis at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra (Kazim Al-Layez - a study in his poetic art).
The message included the researcher (Ayman Sabah Abdullah). The poetry of the visual poet Kazem Muhammad Al-Layez, who is considered one of the contemporary poets who constitute a milestone in the poetry of contemporary Iraqi poetry; Because of his exceptional poetic talent, spontaneous character in his poetic performance far from craftsmanship and pretentiousness, superb pictorial ability and wide imagination.
The thesis included a preface and three chapters, headed by an introduction and followed by a conclusion of the most important results reached by the researcher, as follows: The first chapter dealt with (poetic language), and the second chapter was divided into two sections: the first dealt with (poetic image), while the second topic dealt with (internal rhythm). And then the third chapter, which is tagged with (from the techniques of the poem/textual transcendence.. addressing and intertextuality).
The thesis concluded that the artistic experience of the visual poet was characterized by the poetic richness resulting from the richness of his experience, and his ability to express in drawing and portraying his view of life and the universe. Technical, including: Textual Transcendentalism. The study touched on the two most important transcendentalisms that emerged in the poetry of our poet and occupied an important place in the formation of his poetic text. They are two techniques: (title and literary intertextuality).
