The College of Medicine at University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Civil Defense Directorate in Basrah, organized a workshop on advanced and primitive fire systems for the college’s members
The workshop included an introductory lecture on the principles of civil defense, an explanation of fire extinguishers, and practical exercises presented by the Director of Training in the Civil Defense Directorate, Lt. Col. Tayseer
The workshop aimed to introduce the aspects related to safety and protection to spread the culture of evacuating buildings and dealing with fires, and introducing the types of extinguishers, how to deal with them, and the procedures to be followed in case of accidents
