The College of Dentistry in in the University of Basrah has organized a workshop under the title as ' The Application for the usage of the VELSCOPE Device'
Assistant. Lecturer Dr. Suroor Ali Jabbar also indicated a definition of Premalignant lesions and Malignant lesions of the Oral mucous membrane, and the importance of early diagnosing the conditions that cannot be seen through the naked eyes and observing them.
In addition, the scientific side of the workshop aims to know how to utilize the VELSCOPE Device as means in helping to observe and diagnosis . The device is also easy to use, has a low cost, provides instant diagnostic outcome and has the ability to save the information electronically.
