The President of University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shahin Hammadi, representing the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, participated in the Second International Conference on Communications and Information Technology, which was held at Iraq University College, in the presence of the coordinator of the Ministerial Team for E-Learning, Dr. Amir Salim Al-Ameer and the rest of the team members
The conference aimed to address the problems that Iraqi society and the world suffer from in the fields of engineering in general and the field of communications and information in particular, and the development of computer network systems techniques, as well as the development of information security techniques and renewable energy
The conference included a discussion of new theoretical and practical developments and techniques in the fields of communications and control engineering, computer science, information technology and their applications in solving real-world problems through research papers
The President of University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shahin Hammadi, praised the great role of University of Basrah, the private universities and the staffs in overcoming the crisis of the Corona pandemic, working with blended learning and ending the academic year because of difficulties and challenges
