The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs of the College of Administration and Economics at University of Basrah, Dr. Ahmed Saddam, signed a memorandum of understanding with the managing director of Siraj Al-Marefa Company, Dr. Essam Younis Abdul-Zahra, to establish a business incubator for agricultural and economic projects
The business incubator project aims to embody the university’s mission towards community service and to direct the general path of achieving the university’s goals by seeking to enable young generations to possess knowledge and employ it in the best possible way to meet the challenges of development and innovations in order to keep pace with the process in a sustainable and realistic way, and to contribute to creating economic job opportunities for graduate students from the university colleges, in addition to the orientation towards transforming scientific knowledge into real-life projects
