A number of students of the College of Dentistry in the University of Basrah had participated in delivering a lecture about the role of Radiography in diagnosing Periodontal diseases under the supervision of Assistant. Lecturer Dr. Reham Adnan Radhi.
The lecture that was delivered by the students: Mohammed Hussein, Mohammed Hashim, Fatima Balasem, Sara Ammar and Layla Adel had discussed the methods of Radiography And how they help to successfully diagnose Oral and dental health and in particular the Periodontal diseases, And set up a plan for treatment and continuing the post-treatment stages where second-dimension radiographs and Cbct are used.
The lecture also clarified that the Dental CT images contains more detailed and accurate data than the dental X-rays data in particular.
