An instructor at the Basrah and Arab Gulf Studies Center at University of Basrah, Dr. Murad Hameed Abdullah, has published a book entitled (Phonem and Allophone between Arabic and English - a contrastive descriptive study)
The book aims to clarify the similarities and differences between the Arabic and English languages in the phonemic level
The 120-page book contained an introduction and three chapters that presented the most important concepts and phonetic terms used in the study between these two languages
