Basra University organizes a symposium on the mutual lexical similarities between Turkish and Arabic
The Department of English at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra organized an electronic scientific symposium on the mutual lexical similarities between Turkish and Arabic, with the title:
Mutual Lexical Similarities Between Turkish and Arabic
In the presence of the respected Dean of the College, the Honorable Head of the English Language Department, a group of distinguished professors of the English Language Department, and a group of department students (fourth stage / evening study)
The symposium aimed to introduce similar or common vocabulary between the Arabic and Turkish languages and to identify the reasons for this similarity and some details related to the origins and history of the two languages. The language of presentation and presentation was English.

It is worth noting that Hava is an English language teacher with long experience in the field, and she has taught mostly English at a high level. She has been teaching since 2000. She has also worked in leadership positions, including level officer, department head, coordinator, deputy director, and director. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Anadolu University in English Language Teaching (ELT), a Master's degree from Turkey's Ihsan Degramasi Bilkent University in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, and a Ph.D. in Teaching English from Turkey's Dokuz Eylul University. Her research interests include applied linguistics, psycholinguistics, critical thinking, creative thinking, motivation and persistence in foreign language learning.
