Basra University launches a website for Massive Open Source Online Courses (MOOC)
Avicenna E-Learning Center at the University of Basra has launched a website on Massive Open Source Courses (MOOC), which is offered free of charge over the Internet.
The courses aim to improve the level and efficiency of education for students and researchers by issuing academic educational courses that enhance regular education and lifelong learning.
The site includes educational training curricula of various types, benefit from and disseminate them to the largest possible number of learners, as it requires creating an account on the platform for new subscribers to be granted a certificate of participation after completing the training course and performing the electronic test.
It is worth noting that this achievement comes within the university's endeavors to achieve the quality standards of e-learning for content, which stipulates that the institution owns the MOOC and supports its use, which constitutes a significant percentage of the second standard for educational content.
