A faculty member staff at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, Assistant Professor Dr. Layla Jasim, participated in the workshop held by the College of Dentistry at the Iraqi University under the title (Achieving sustainable development through waste recycling), with the participation of researchers and specialists.
The workshop included a lecture by Dr. Mustafa Ahmed in which he explained the stages of waste treatment through several stages, including the stage of waste classification, the stage of waste shredding, the sifting stage, the stage of isolation and cleaning with compressed air, the stage of separation of waste using magnets to separate mineral materials, in addition to the isolation stage based on weight. As well as the washing stage and drying and this is the last.
