The thesis presented by the student Yahya Mohammed Amen dealt with presenting a new methodology for balancing flexible axes without trial run attempts.
In this thesis experimental phase analysis (EMA) has been used. To overcome this difficulty, both the force applied to the body and the resulting response were measured, which leads to the conclusion of the frequency response function (FRF) and then the phase coefficients, which represent the most important results from the use of EMA and are the basis for building the required mathematical model. The thesis aims to extract the phase coefficients of a simple body (a column of circular section) and then an object (column with three discs) exhibits linear rather than dynamic behaviour.
The thesis concluded that the budgeting methodology based on the MBB model is an effective method when applied to the flexible axes, as the decrease in the equilibrium ranges between 54% to 78%.
