The College of Engineering at University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Tatweer Academy, held a forum for students of the fourth stage in the College of Engineering for the purpose of presenting the details of the skills development program during the summer vacation for students according to the required departments and specializations
The training course aims to obtain an opportunity to develop skills and knowledge, build competitive professional capabilities, and prepare staffs with competencies necessary to work in the oil sector.
The program will enable graduate trainees to acquire the most important skills for various disciplines and give them certificates that qualify them to enter the labor market and obtain job opportunities in international companies operating in Iraq
The summer training official, Dr. Osama Jassim, indicated that the course will start on 10/8/2021 and will last for a month, with 4 hours per day
He added that the mechanism of cooperation is continuing with the Tatweer Academy for the purpose of training and qualifying graduates, through a professional training curriculum within each specialty
