The College of Veterinary Medicine at University of Basrah participated in the Fifth Student Scientific Conference (the second virtual conference) to discuss the graduation research for students of the fifth year for the academic year 2020-2021. In the conference, 12 applied and academic scientific research were discussed by professors in the colleges of veterinary medicine in Iraqi universities
The conference aims to raise the level of scientific research and joint cooperation between colleges and invest scientific research in the service of society in terms of science and economy
The conference included a discussion of graduation research for fifth-year students by university professors in all governorates
After discussing the research, the names of the students whose research won the first place were announced, as the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Baghdad ranked first, at the University of Mosul ranked second and at University of Basrah ranked third, with the research of students Talal Zuhair and Aseel Bassem under the supervision of Dr. Basem Kazem Khashgouri
