The College of Agriculture at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Directorate of Basra Agriculture, organized an indicative symposium on means of preventing epidemic diseases in poultry fields and modern techniques in raising laying hens. The indicative symposium aimed at educating breeders and entrepreneurs about modern methods and techniques in education and disease prevention in poultry fields. The indicative symposium, in which the teaching assistant professor Dr. Qutaiba Jassem Ghani and assistant professor Dr. Sabah Kazem Marzouk, which was held in the agricultural divisions in the Safwan district and Zubair district, gave an explanation about the modern techniques and machines that entered into the laying hens’ fields projects and which worked to increase production and profits for these Projects The symposium also touched on the methods used in prevention, vaccines and treatments for poultry diseases, especially epidemiological ones.
