
The Deanship of the College of Education for Human Sciences at University of Basrah has started conducting the final examination for students of undergraduate and postgraduate studies in attendance and electronically
The Dean of the College, Dr. Hameed Siraj Jaber, said that safety measures were emphasized in terms of fumigating halls, wearing masks, providing sterilizers, organizing halls, social distancing, and taking into account the questions for ministerial controls, as well as committing to attend on time for the exam
The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Asaad Abbas Hindi, said: “We followed a mechanism based on pairing the attendance and electronic exams in subjects according to the percentages specified by the ministry.” Hindi added, “And we decided that the attendance exams would be according to the stages in order to reduce crowding and maintain social distancing”
For his part, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Nofal Kazem Mahous, said: "All measures have been taken over the past days to make the examination process successful, including providing safety requirements and preparing a backup source of electricity, in addition to ensuring the safety and effectiveness of air-conditioning devices inside the examination halls"
Mahous added, "Thank God, the exams for the first day took place in a smooth manner in light of the current conditions of the Corona pandemic"
