Doctoral thesis in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences / College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra - The effectiveness of an educational program based on the strategies of the formal organizer and thinking maps in achievement and the development of deductive thinking skills in the subject of educational psychology for students of fine arts institutes - for the student (Sabah Ghazi Daoud Al-Amiri).
The thesis dealt with building an educational program based on the strategies of the formal organizer and thinking maps, in addition to two research tools: the achievement test - and the deductive reasoning test. Basra province .
The study aimed to identify the effect of the educational program based on the strategies of the formal organizer and thinking maps on achievement and the development of inferential thinking skills among students of the first stage - institutes of fine arts in the subject of educational psychology.
The study concluded that the educational program proved to be effective within the limits in which it was conducted in improving the level of students’ achievement and developing their inferential thinking, in addition to the ability of the program, including fictitious activities, drawings, and schemes, to achieve a sense of pleasure and suspense for students in a way that contributes to their learning events.
The study recommended the necessity of adopting the current educational program in teaching educational psychology in institutes of fine arts in Iraq because of its importance in raising the level of achievement and developing inferential thinking skills among first-stage students, in addition to the need to pay attention to updating the content of educational psychology and including illustrative forms and charts. With the opportunity for students to make these shapes to make these shapes and diagrams on their own to increase their participation in the teaching process.
