Doctoral thesis in the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance / College of Education for Human Sciences, University of Basra - The effect of language exercises and vice versa on developing the awareness of family responsibilities among battered women - by student Insaf Musa Jaber. The thesis dealt with the effect of the two guiding techniques, linguistic exercises and vice versa in developing the awareness of family responsibilities among wives exposed to violence by their husbands, as one of the reasons for the wife's exposure to violence is a lack of awareness of her responsibilities towards her family and her lack of awareness of the tasks of that role. The thesis aims to identify the effect of the two guiding techniques (language exercises and vice versa) in developing the awareness of family responsibilities among women who were abused by their husbands, and which two techniques are more effective. The thesis concluded that a woman's exposure to violence by her husband has several reasons, including a lack of awareness of her family responsibilities, and that the counseling techniques used in the current research have an impact on developing the awareness of family responsibilities among battered women. The thesis recommended training social researchers working in the field of domestic violence on various counseling methods to guide women subjected to violence.
