The Council of Basrah University, in its regular session held at the College of Education for Women, honored its president, Dr. Saad Shahin Hammadi, with the Creativity Shield for his distinguished medical and scientific achievements in community service
These achievements were numerous and varied to include various fields, including the medical field, the scientific developments field, the international classifications fielf, the e-learning as well as the field of openness to companies and external cooperation. All of these fields serve humanity and society
These achievements contributed to confronting the Corona pandemic, the development of graduate studies in scientific departments and branches, the development of the university’s cadres, as well as the entry of University of Basrah into international classifications and taking the lead, in addition to the university’s obtaining advanced positions among Iraqi universities in e-learning and electronic management. As well as the openness to companies to enumerate agreements in the interest of university students and external cooperation that resulted in the conclusion of memoranda of understanding with important international universities, most of which have entered into force
