The Continuing Education and Development Center at University of Basrah organized an online workshop on management and its functions within the sobriety project
The workshop aims to provide trainees with knowledge, information and skills to manage departments and colleges at the university, increase understanding of the interrelationship of responsibilities in overall performance, and emphasize the importance of chairing the department for the success of the overall activities of the university
The workshop, which was presented by Dr. Abdul-Redha Farag, included the roles of the Director in planning, organization and control in university administration, and the comparison between leadership and administration, leadership methods and theories, and bad practices and behaviors that limit the effectiveness of leadership
