A master’s thesis was searched in the Department of History / College of Education for Human Sciences - University of Basra ((The Opposition and the power in the palace of the Islamic State at Al- Andalus (138-366 A.H. / 755-976 A.D))) to the student ((Zaedoun kalaf Kalash)), and the thesis dealt with the most important frameworks that show the importance of Authority and opposition in the court of Andalusia, as this study attempts to touch the forms of opposition in Andalusia, whether it was organized and coordinated, and who contributed most to strengthening the state or contributed to weakening it politically, militarily, economically and socially.
The thesis included an introduction, a preface, three chapters, a conclusion and appendices. The preface dealt with the concept of opposition, power and the court, while the first chapter included the political opposition in the court of Andalusia, and the second chapter talked about the economic and military opposition, while the last chapter dealt with social opposition in the court.
The letter concluded that the court does not include the ruler’s palace only, but is a place composed of several palaces and other buildings, and the activities of its members emerged by showing their various roles and positions for both the authority and the opposition in the center of the Andalusian state from a sharp conflict between the two parties, as each party tried to exercise its authority at the expense The other, and notes the course of these events that were characterized by rivalry, envy and conspiracies that are rooted within the court, which sometimes amount to murder and bloodshed.
