The President of Basrah University, Dr. Saad Shahin Hammadi, received a delegation from the Ministry of Industry and Minerals
The two parties discussed the initiative of the General Directorate of Industrial Development in the Ministry to support graduate students and reduce unemployment
The head of the delegation, Huda Qassem Khazal, stated that the Directorate announced an initiative to contain the energies and creativity of the graduate students, represented by the establishment of industrial projects for them and providing all possible facilities from the project selection stage until it reached the stage of production and marketing, indicating that the initiative aims to provide opportunities for graduates and financially support small and medium projects
The President of the University stressed that the University welcomes this initiative and provides full support to it and its constant readiness to facilitate student projects and transform the university from an academic only to a productive university and an incubator for the development of student projects, stressing the opening of joint horizons for cooperation between the University and the General Directorate of Industrial Development
