The instructor at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah, Dr. Labid Abdullah Najm, lectured in the international training course (Molecular diagnosis of pathogens and agricultural pests), which was held by the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at the University of Baghdad, with the participation of researchers and specialists in the field of biological sciences
Dr. Lapid gave five lectures over five continuous days, which included practical training on molecular diagnosis, starting from DNA extraction to recording isolates in the gene bank. About 210 researchers, postgraduate students and professors from all over Iraq, the Arab world and the world participated in these lectures
