University of Basrah Organizes a Lecture on Physiological Changes and Liver Metabolism
The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah organized a lecture on physiological changes and liver metabolism after sleeve gastrectomy.
The lecture aims to identify the physiological changes and liver metabolism after sleeve gastrectomy, as well as the changes in the level of intestinal hormones such as ghrelin and glucagon like peptide.
The lecture, presented by the college lecturer, Dr. Rafida Majeed Abdul-Hussein, included a statement of some of the physiological changes that occur in patients suffering from obesity after surgery and the changes in hormone levels.
