The University of Basrah Organizes a Lecture on Research Problem and Topic Selection for Unit Eight
The Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held a lecture on the issue of scientific research and the selection of its topic for Unit Eight in the field of humanities as part of a teaching methods course.
The lecture aimed to acquaint trainees with how to select titles for scientific research, dissertations, and university theses.
Presented by trainer Thraa Abdul Rasool Hassan, the lecture discussed the importance of scientific research and the appropriate way to choose a research problem. It highlighted the characteristics that make a research problem appealing to academic researchers, as well as the fundamental steps to conduct the research, such as proposing suitable, testable hypotheses and time management for execution. Essential tips were also provided for researchers and supervisors to effectively carry out these projects.
