University of Basrah Organizes a Symposium on the Role of Women in Iraqi Society
The College of Education for Women at Basrah University organized a symposium on the role of women in Iraqi society.
The symposium aims to highlight the role of women in Iraqi society and how some women have been able to achieve distinction and creativity in various fields of life.
The symposium included the presentation of several research papers during which the researchers highlighted success stories and experiences of some Iraqi women who were able to establish developmental projects and take on the responsibility of family care, including the late architect Zaha Hadid and the late physician Sanha Balqis, among others.
