The University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop on Common Linguistic Mistakes in Official Correspondence
The Cultural Center at the University of Basrah, in collaboration with the General Secretariat of the Central Library, organized a workshop on common linguistic mistakes in official correspondence and official documents.
The workshop, conducted by Dr. Mushtaq Salem Abdul Razaq, aimed to enhance the linguistic competence of employees working in administrative roles, reinforcing the language of the Quran and preserving it from intrusive dialects.
The workshop covered a variety of commonly repeated incorrect words, expressions, and spelling structures, and how to correct them linguistically when writing orders and correspondence between different administrative bodies.
