Master's Thesis at University of Basrah Explores Weight Distribution Simulation on Tractor Performance
A master's thesis at the College of Agriculture, University of Basrah, investigated the simulation of additional weight distribution on tractor performance using artificial neural networks and mathematical models under various operational conditions.
The thesis by student Hussein Zaki Abdul aimed to study the impact of additional weights on the rear and front of the tractor on mechanical traits using artificial neural networks.
The study concluded that artificial neural networks are capable of accurately predicting studied traits such as pulling force, slip ratio, rolling resistance, pulling capacity, wheel power, pulling efficiency, power loss, and fuel consumption.
