University of Basrah Organizes a Celebration on the Occasion of Imam Ali's Birth (PBUH).
The College of Education for Humanities at the University of Basrah organized a joyous celebration on the occasion of the birth of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him, attended by the University's President Assistant for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Haydar Khazal Al-Kaabi.
The celebration included various cultural segments and poems that highlighted the noble biography of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali, peace be upon him, his significant impact on the Islamic nation, his stances, and his great virtues that have formed an essential part of Islamic history and left rich values for future generations.
In his speech, Dr. Haydar Khazal Al-Kaabi discussed the wisdom and virtues of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, emphasizing the importance of knowledge and learning, his constant call to acquire knowledge and disseminate it among people, and his focus on the importance of time and making the most of every moment in human life.
Khazal stressed that celebrating the birth of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, is not just a religious occasion but an opportunity to remind people of the high values everyone should strive to achieve in their daily lives, especially in the field of knowledge and good deeds.
