University of Basrah Executes Comprehensive Maintenance and Development for Bab Al-Houta Fountain
As part of the University of Basrah's efforts to improve its facilities and develop its campus environment, the Department of Diwan Affairs executed comprehensive maintenance for the Bab Al-Houta Fountain at the Bab Al-Zubair district.
Engineer Mahmoud Jafar, the Director of the Department of Diwan Affairs, stated, "The works included connecting and rehabilitating the fountain's pumps to ensure more efficient operation. The water basin was meticulously cleaned to remove deposits and impurities that may affect water quality, alongside repairing damaged pipes and replacing those beyond repair."
Mahmoud added, "These efforts are part of the university's plan to improve facilities and enhance the aesthetic environment on campus, contributing to creating comfortable and attractive surroundings for students and visitors."
