University of Basrah Participates in the Virtual Scientific Forum on Women's Economic Rights
Faculty members from the College of Education for Women at the University of Basrah participated in the international virtual scientific forum "Economic Rights of Disabled Women: Breaking Barriers... Challenges and Solutions."
The forum aims to emphasize the importance of breaking societal stereotypes imposed by society on women with special needs.
The forum included the presentation of several research papers where researchers discussed social and psychological barriers for women with special needs in accessing the labor market and forms of economic violence and their impact on women's financial independence.
