The thesis, presented by student Ayat Jassim Mohammed, aims to approach narrative representation in short stories within the Arabian Gulf.
The thesis consists of three chapters. The first chapter deals with characters, their types, patterns and events, as well as the specification of time and place, which are among the most important modern techniques in narrative storytelling. The third chapter addresses narrative themes, highlighting how the diversity of themes in the author's works responds to various social, historical, religious, and cultural demands.
