Master's Thesis at University of Basrah Explores Psychological Foundations of Curricula
A master's thesis in the College of Education for Women at the University of Basrah explored the psychological foundations of curricula and their relationship with mental resilience among high school students.
The thesis, presented by student Noor Mahdi Dawood, aims to determine the level of psychological foundations in the curricula of high school students and the significance of differences in these foundations according to the variables of gender and branch (scientific - literary), while also assessing the mental resilience of high school students.
The thesis comprised three chapters, during which the student developed two tools: the first to measure the level of attention to the psychological foundations in the sixth-grade curricula after presenting an open exploratory questionnaire to a random sample from the research community. The second tool was built based on Clough's quad model to measure the level of mental resilience in the research sample.
