President of University of Basrah Inaugurates the Virtual Oil Laboratory at Al-Maqal University
The President of Basrah University, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem, inaugurated the virtual oil laboratory at Al-Maqal University in the presence of its President, Dr. Badr Naama Al-Badran, and official and academic figures.
The laboratory includes a number of devices and models that simulate the stages of oil extraction and the processes applied to it, such as isolation and refining, among others. The attendees also watched a visual presentation that carried within it the promising future of the oil industry in Iraq.
During his speech at the inauguration of the laboratory, the President of Basrah University praised the progress made by Al-Maqal University in the field of quality and excellence in educational outcomes, both theoretical and practical. This has been achieved through advanced laboratories that keep up with modernity and lead to integration in the teaching method, which blends theoretical information with practical application through scientific and academic experienced staff.
