University of Basrah Discusses Scientific Cooperation with the World Food Program as Part of the Sustainable Development to Enhance Aquaitc Life
The College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah discussed joint scientific cooperation with the World Food Program (WFP) to support food security and sustainable development projects.
The Dean of the College of Agriculture, Dr. Sarmed Ghazi Al-Shawi, stated that the meeting, which was attended by the program's representative in Iraq, Valerie Guarnieri, Assistant Executive Director, and a number of figures, and the fish farming site in the college was inspected with the aim of reviewing the progress of work and evaluating developments in this important project that supports sustainable development.
This visit comes within the framework of strengthening the partnership between the World Food Program and the University of Basrah to support food security and sustainable development projects.
