As Part of its Environmental Sustainability Policy, University of Basra Launches a Field Campaign to Remove Reeds and Harmful Plants
In its ongoing efforts to improve the university environment, the Department of Administrative Affairs at the University of Basra conducted an intensive campaign to cut reeds and remove harmful plants. The campaign targeted the Hawali gardens at the Bab Al-Zubair and Karma Ali sites.
Engineer Mahmoud Jafar Jassim, Director of the Department of Administrative Affairs, explained that these efforts are part of the department's plans to develop green spaces and maintain the beauty of the university environment. He emphasized the importance of continuing such activities to ensure a clean and attractive environment for students and faculty members.
Mahmoud noted that these campaigns involve using modern equipment and coordinated teamwork aimed at improving the general appearance of the university sites and eliminating environmental obstacles.
