University of Basrah Signs Nine Memoranda of Understanding with Iranian Universities
The University of Basrah has signed nine memoranda of understanding with Iranian universities in areas of expertise exchange between the two sides, supervision of postgraduate studies, as well as joint publication and participation in conferences and scientific seminars organized by both parties.
Dr. Muhannad Hamed Aboud, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department at the University of Basrah, explained that the university signed memoranda of understanding with Iranian universities on the sidelines of the Iraqi-Iranian Science Week Forum organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with Al-Zahraa University for Women in the holy city of Karbala.
Aboud noted that the Iranian universities with which the memoranda of understanding were signed included various scientific and medical specialties, among them Shahid Chamran University, University of Marine Sciences, Bu-Ali Sina University, and Hamedan University of Medical Sciences.
