For Sustainable Development in Preserving Marine Diversity, Scientists and Researchers from the University of Basrah Organize a Research Trip to the Breakwater
In implementation of the plans of the United Nations program in the sustainability and development of marine natural resources, a scientific team at the Marine Science Center consisting of Dr. Malik Hasan Ali, Dr. Huda Kadhim Ahmed and lecturer Hanaa Hussein Muhammad organized a field research trip to the eastern and western breakwaters adjacent to the Grand Faw Port and the Iraqi coast.
The trip aimed to conduct a survey and collect samples from the seabed, marine coasts, monitor and evaluate the development of the biological diversity of marine organisms in order to develop appropriate solutions for sustainable development and solve environmental problems in the region.
