The Marine Science Center at Basra University organized an extensive workshop on the impact of oil industries on the ecosystem in Iraq.
The workshop aimed to assess the environmental situation and follow sustainable development plans in the field of reducing oil pollution.
The workshop included lectures explaining the risks of oil pollutants and their impact on human health, their role in stimulating bacterial activity, how to measure them using near-infrared radiation, as well as the role of nanoparticles in their treatment, and the overall impact of oil industries on the environment.
