For the sustainable development of the environment and the enhancement of natural resources, Basra University organizes a discussion session on the role of palm trees in combating desertification.
The Palm Research Center, in collaboration with the College of Science at Basra University, organized a discussion session on the role of date palm tissue cultivation in combating desertification, enhancing sustainable environmental development of natural resources, and biodiversity.
The session, presented by Dr. Khiyon Ali Mohsen, addressed the nutritional, economic, and environmental importance of date palms and the methods of their tissue propagation through controlling light, temperature, and humidity.
