For sustainability in the health sector, the University of Basra organizes a dialogue session on the use of antibiotics.
The Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Basra, in collaboration with Injaz Foundation for Development, organized a dialogue session to raise awareness about the use of antibiotics on Al-Farahidi Cultural Street in central Basra.
The session, managed by academic Najlaa Al-Saffar and pharmacist Zahraa Jaseb, aimed to educate and raise awareness among the Basra community about the dangers of using antibiotics without medical consultation.
The session covered topics including how to use antibiotics, reasons for non-recovery despite treatment, and the issue of citizens prescribing medication to peers without consulting specialists.
