Regarding the participation, Dr. Mushtaq Salem Abdul-Razzaq, the director of the center, said: "Our center's participation, through the Determined Volunteer Team, is an important contribution to providing financial income for diabetes patients, both children and adults, as well as for developing the income of our team originally composed of people with special needs. The center's products included the sale of various types of clothing, trinkets, and hand-painted artworks made by team members. The profits will be allocated to purchasing medicines and providing medical care for diabetes patients after deducting a portion for the team members with special needs, whom the university supports by organizing various economic and humanitarian activities."
