University of Basra hosts the Islamic Researcher Ali Al-Talqani
The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basra hosted the Islamic researcher, Mr. Ali Al-Talqani, to give a lecture titled "Moderation and Rejecting Extremism" in collaboration with the Center for Educational Guidance and Psychological Care.
Al-Talqani addressed the topic of moderation and its critical role in promoting understanding and peaceful coexistence among individuals, emphasizing the importance of using dialogue as a means to combat extremism that threatens societal stability and to promote values of tolerance and mutual respect to curb the spread of extremist ideologies.
Al-Talqani stressed the need to strengthen the role of educational institutions in spreading a culture of peace and guiding young people to be active participants in building a safe and cooperative society.
Dr. Haider Khazal Al-Kaabi, Deputy President of the University for Administrative Affairs, praised Mr. Ali Al-Talqani's prominent role in the field of social guidance and in steering towards noble human values and promoting the benevolent Islamic culture within the academic community.
