University of Basra organizes a seminar on artificial intelligence and its role in agriculture
The Palm Research Center at the University of Basra organized a seminar on the use of some applications of artificial intelligence in agriculture.
The seminar, which was lectured by Dr. Azhar Mahdi Abdul-Sahib, included a historical introduction to artificial intelligence and its multiple fields, as well as the most important uses and benefits of artificial intelligence applications in general and in the field of agriculture and palm production in particular, such as its use in predictive analytics and pest and insect control such as the red palm weevil, with a comparison between traditional agriculture, precision agriculture and systems that support artificial intelligence.
