University of Basra holds a course on Arabic language safety
The Development and Continuing Education Center at the University of Basra held a course on the integrity of the Arabic language.
The course aims to familiarize trainees with the diagnosis of errors that affect the Arabic language to avoid them.
The course, presented by Dr. Abbas Abdulaziz Sayhoud, included an explanation of the basics of Arabic language safety, common spelling, morphological and grammatical errors and how to correct them, and an explanation of the most important topics that go into the safety of the Arabic language, namely the types of cases of drawing of (ء), the difference between the (ة) and (ت), the difference between the letters (الضاء / الظاء), and (الالف اللينة / الالف الفارقة). Also the difference between (المبتدأ و الخبر), "كان وأخواتها و أن و أخواتها )", and punctuation marks, number and counted.
The course recommended the importance of keeping abreast of linguistic development and generalizing it to specialists and employees.
