The research, presented by student Lana Nadim Allawi, aimed to evaluate EGFR expression in colorectal cancer and its relationship with clinical and histopathologic parameters.
Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer in the world, affecting males and females almost equally. The average age of onset is in the fifth to sixth decade of life. The most common histologic type is classical adenocarcinoma.
