University of Basra organizes a Workshop on Biochar
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basra organized a workshop on biochar and its benefits for humans, animals and the environment.
The workshop aimed to show the extent of the use of biochar in various fields of life.
The workshop, which was attended by a number of faculty members, addressed several aspects, including how to manufacture biochar, its composition, and its uses in soil fertilization, water purification, biofertilizer manufacture, production of organic feed for both poultry and ruminants, as well as its use in energy production and others.
