University of Basrah Organizes a Symposium on Intellectual and Aesthetic Initiation
The College of Fine Arts at the University of Basrah organized a symposium entitled "Intellectual and Aesthetic Initiation of the Narrative Film".
The symposium aimed to shed light on the importance of beginnings in artistic works, especially narrative films, and their role in attracting the viewer's attention and establishing the visual and narrative discourse of the cinematic work.
Presented by Dr. Qusay Abdul-Abbas, the symposium discusses how to deal with artistic styles in the early stages of the film and the importance of formulating an influential and effective introduction that prepares the viewer for upcoming events. It also touched on the artistic methods used in constructing the opening scenes and their impact on the recipient.
