Dr. Ammar Yasser Jassim publishes scientific research in an international journal
Dr. Ammar Yasser Jassim, an instructor at the University of Basra Marine Science Center, published a scientific research in collaboration with other researchers entitled "Study of cytotoxicity and DNA binding of biologically manufactured Eu2Sn2O7 nanoparticles by experimental and computational methods" in the journal MATERIALS CHEMISTRY AND PHYSICS
published by ELSEVIER.
The research, published in Scopus 1Q with an impact factor of (4.3), addressed the features and benefits of biologically synthesized nanoparticles and physiologically active plant active aggregates that support green synthesis.
The research showed how pharmacodynamics is greatly affected by interactions with drug molecules and DNA, as DNA is a primary target for many therapeutic drugs; therefore, this work presented a study on the environmentally friendly and reliable synthesis of nanoparticles of (4.3) (Eu2Sn2O7) nanoparticles using plant extracts, the cytotoxic activity and DNA binding of Eu2Sn2O7 nanoparticles were investigated, and the cytotoxic potential of Eu2Sn2O7 nanoparticles against cancer cells was evaluated.
