Dr. Haider Mohammed Abdulnabi, an instructor at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Basra, participated in the seventh edition of the National Conference for Applied Sciences, Environment and Energy, which was held at Chuck University in Erbil Governorate from January 28 to 30, 2025.
The participation included the presentation of a scientific research entitled: "Attendance management system using Internet of Things (IoT) technology and QR codes." The research discussed how to develop an innovative system to facilitate attendance management through modern technologies that contribute to improving efficiency and data accuracy.
The research aimed to design a system to automatically record students' attendance using various technologies, including the Internet of Things and cloud computing.
